Boris Acket - Secret Life Exhibition

The scenography of the USB002 tour grows from Einder, the kinetic artwork by Boris Acket, a living system of fabric, gravity, and motion. From the outset of the tour, it was a shared ambition of Boris and Fred again.. to reveal this work beyond the charged temporality of the concert: to offer an expanded encounter in which the artwork and music could be fully inhabited. What emerges is an extended, communal experience - seated or supine - closer to a ritual than a performance.

Now presented in New York, the installation unfolds outside the logic of the live show. Set to a specially reworked version of Secret Life - the ambient collaboration by Brian Eno and Fred again.. - the work exists as a durational environment, without a fixed beginning or end. Sound and movement drift continuously through the space. Every thirty minutes, a synthetic and generative storm reverberates through the building, newly recomposed for this exhibition by Boris Acket, briefly destabilising the calm before receding again.

The installation deliberately blurs the boundaries between concert hall and gallery, between listening and looking, between collective presence and personal space. Time softens here; attention expands.

This project is personal at every scale. The USB002 tour gave rise not only to a shared language but to enduring friendships between Fred, Boris, and the wider teams around the work. Secret Life is an intimate exchange between Brian Eno and Fred again.. Einder stands among Boris Acket’s most developed and personal works. The hope is that this sense of closeness — between people, materials, and sound — can be felt throughout the experience, however briefly or however long one chooses to remain.

Entry & Timing

Your scheduled entry time is listed on your ticket.
Please aim to arrive 20 minutes before your allocated slot.

Once inside the exhibition, you’re welcome to stay longer than 20 minutes. However, in order to make sure all visitors have the best experience, we reserve the right to limit everyone’s time in the exhibition to one hour if the space becomes too full.

About the Exhibition

Please note: this is not a live show - it is an exhibition.
Fred will not be performing.

You’re encouraged to take your time, settle in, and fully immerse yourself in the space. The music and installation are continuous, allowing you to experience the work at your own pace.

Comfort & Amenities

Yoga mats will be available to borrow
There will be complimentary tea and water provided.
No alcohol will be available. Please do not bring alcohol with you.

Phone Use

We’ll provide a sticker at entry to cover your phone cameras, helping everyone stay present in the moment.
No cameras or video recording are permitted inside the exhibition.

Accessibility Needs

We will have an accessible viewing area at the show. Fans requiring accessible seating, and their companion(s), are required to purchase standard general admission tickets during the event’s on sale. Bag Policy

Any bags must be in compliance with our bag policy. Bags that are not in compliance must be returned to the patron’s vehicle or discarded. All bags are to be searched by security upon entry.

Approved bags:

The maximum allowable bag size is 16″ x 16″ x 8″ which means that most small soft-sided bags and purses are allowed. Hard-sided containers including coolers, briefcases and ice chests are prohibited.

All persons, bags, and other items may be subject to security screening. We reserve the right to not allow any bag or other personal item to be brought into the venue. Any unattended bag or object will be dealt with in such a way as we consider appropriate.

Lockers

There will be a limited amount of secure e-lockers available at the event and can be booked in advance for a smooth arrival and exit.

Forgot your locker number or PIN?

Check your booking confirmation email first. If your phone battery has died or the wrong email address was used, speak to a member of staff on site who can assist you.
For security and privacy reasons, staff may ask questions to help identify your locker. Please be ready to describe the contents as accurately as possible.

Are lockers refundable?

No, locker bookings are non-refundable.

Mobile Ticketing

Face Value Resale

AXS Face Value Exchange will be implemented, which means you can safely transfer or resell your tickets at slightly above face value if you can no longer attend.

The designated drop-off and pick-up location is 48-20 50th Ave, Woodside, NY 11377. We kindly request that you utilize this specific address when coordinating travel to the event via rideshare services. Please refrain from entering "East End Studios" as the location, as this will direct you to an incorrect entrance.

7 Train – Exit at 46 St–Bliss St (approx. 8–10 min walk)
R / M Trains – Exit at Northern Blvd (approx. 12–14 min walk)

Long Island Rail Road (LIRR)

Take the LIRR to Woodside Station (approx. 12–15 min walk). Offers frequent service on the Port Washington Branch.

Bus

Q32 – Stops along Roosevelt Ave and Queens Blvd
Q60 – Runs along Queens Blvd
Q104 – Runs along Broadway in Woodside

All routes are within a short walking distance of the venue.

Accessibility: Both the 7 train at 46 St–Bliss St and LIRR Woodside Station offer accessible routes; elevator availability may vary.

Parking

There is no parking available at the venue. East End Studios is located in a residential neighborhood in Woodside, Queens – please do not drive and expect to find street parking. We highly encourage guests to take public transit or rideshare.
